Marc Jacobs Case Study
The Challenge
CS&Co, New Zealand's largest distributor of beauty and fragrance brands, approached us with their brand guidelines and two site locations for activations at Sylvia Park and Farmers Manukau, aiming to showcase the Marc Jacobs Daisy Wild fragrances. Each location had its own budget and requirements, with the larger space at Sylvia Park measuring 6 × 6 m and the smaller site of 3 × 3 m at Farmers Manukau.
Our challenge was to bring elements of the specifications within the brand guidelines to life across both sites, while incorporating Colab assets that worked within the footprint and kept to the budget. A key difficulty was achieving accurate colour matching across different materials—including vinyl, fabric, and paint—and keeping to the brand identity.
The Idea
Our approach was to bring the Marc Jacobs brand to life across both spaces while working within each site’s footprint and budget, incorporating Colab assets where possible.
Custom elements such as product glorifiers, a Daisy photo moment, and freestanding trees were introduced to elevate the experience, alongside bespoke additions to Colab assets including an acrylic logo header on the wall and layered acrylic bush details on the plinths.
Each location required a tailored approach. At Sylvia Park, a hard floor was installed with power integrated for the TV and POS, along with secure fixing of large elements like the freestanding trees for safety. In contrast, the Manukau site allowed for a more streamlined setup, with vinyl applied directly to the floor and a simplified footprint.
Throughout the process, careful attention was paid to the Marc Jacobs brand guidelines, ensuring all aspects—from colour and placement to overall execution—were delivered accurately and consistently. This meant working closely with our client CS&Co, and also getting global approval through detailed renders and sampling.

The Result
The result was a cohesive and visually striking set of activations that translated the Marc Jacobs Daisy Wild brand seamlessly across two very different sites. Despite the differences in scale and footprint, each one delivered a consistent and visually impactful brand experience.
The combination of custom elements and adapted Colab assets allowed for a seamless execution that stayed true to the brand guidelines, while still working within the practical constraints of each site. The activations created strong visual presence in high-traffic retail environments, drawing attention and encouraging customer engagement.
